Tucked along the prettiest harbour in Dubai, this café has become our go-to for slow mornings, spontaneous coffee breaks, and fresh-baked treats to take home. Alica is relaxed but refined, with a menu that balances clean flavors and cozy classics. From savory sandwiches and vibrant salads to buttery pastries and specialty drinks, everything feels considered—but never fussy. When we’re in a hurry (or just craving something comforting), we love picking up their sourdough buns—crusty, golden, and always freshly baked. But when we’re in no rush, you’ll find us on the terrace with a little indulgence: the heart-shaped sourdough waffles with blackberry jam and basque spread are pure joy on a plate. For something sweet and zesty, my boyfriend swears by the lemon pound cake, which pairs perfectly with an iced latte or matcha—both creamy, balanced, and just the way we like them.
